SHOPPING IN BOATS.
HEAVY FLOODS IN FRANCE. LONDON, March 7. Flooded rivers in Franco partly submerged the towns of Angers, Nevers and Angouleme. People did their shopping in boats. Thousands of cattle were drowned. The Loitro and its tributaries rose to a big height. The Seine passed its ordinary flood level.
