TRAGEDY IN A THEATRE.
WIFE ACCIDENTALLY SHOT. March 23. A crowded theatre witnessed a tragedy during a music hall William Tell act. Alexander Brennen was shooting glass balls and electric light globes off his wife's head. His first shot struck her forehead, killing her instantly. The man appeared brokenhearted, but the police arrested him, and alleged that he had a liaison with a pretty dancing girl.—A. and N.Z. cable.
