SWIMMING.
CENTRAL SCHOOL SPORTS. The Central School swimming sports w-?re held this afternoon when, 'although rain threatened the weather generally was fine. The events were watched by a largo crowd of children, their parents and friends. The sports were accompanied by tile usual enthusiasm among the juvenile spectators who made no secret of their favourite competitors, The judges were as follows: Messrs J. Devine, L. F. de Berry, P. T. Robinson and McPherson. The lady teachers supervised the girls’ events. . Results of the first portion of ihe programme were as follow'; Boys senior handicap (66 2-3 yards): G.
