(Per Press Association.! CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 28. A downpour of rain in the city to-day, following fairly heavy rain overnight, makes the resumption of the Plunket Shield match doubtful. The rainfall up till noon makes the February total 2.008 incres, and the total for the year 7.491 inches, which is almost a record for January and February.
