JULY MEDAL COMPETITION. Favourable conditions were experienced for the July medal competition and the first round of the Nathan Cup, which were got off on the Hokowhitu rinks on Saturday. C. The L.G.U. silver and bronze modal competition, postponed from last Tuesday, will be played in conjunction with the first, qualifying round of the senior, middleweight and junior championships, entrance fees to be paid before players go out.
