INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL
The highly successful tour of the Australian Association football eleven will terminate on Wednesday next, when they meet the Manawatn representatives on the Showgrounds, The lour has been most successful in a double sense. Firstly, the visitors, representing the pic!; of New South Wales and Queensland, are the finest “soccer combination that has visited these shores. Secondly, the visit, which involves quite a heavy financial liability, fends to increase the interest and sentiment between the two nations. : It is anticipated th.ata large crowd will welcome these distinguished sporting visitors when they play on the Showgrounds on Wednesday next.
