FREEZING WORKERS’ STRIKE.

(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 7.

It was reported this morning that there was a pronounced movement among the regular freezing workers to return to work. Though the union officials have not confirmed the report, it was stated in another quarter that it it likely that the strike will be declared off, the men having made thenprotest, A representative, of the companies stated that many of the unionists had already returned to work.
