Results: Woodlands Steeples, 2 miles. —Powder King, 10.0, 1; Gold Scene, 11.3, 2; Chillies, 10.7, 3. Scratched: Oak Rose, Nicomar. Won by four lengths. Time, 4.19. Whakatu Hurdles, 1| miles.—Earthshine, 9.3, 1; Ruatara, 10.7, 2; Royal Gift, 11,1, 5. All started. Won by a head. Time, 5.23. Hawke’s Bay Steeples, about 3 miles.— Red Cent, 9.0, 1; First Line, 10.10. 2; Kohn, 10.10. 3. All started. Won by three lengths. Time, 6.47.
