SUCCESSFUL TE MATAt RUN

A held of between thirty and forty artended at Mr S. P. Lancaster's homestead ai To Maiai yesterday afternoon for a run with the Manawaiit Hum pack. The drag was laid by Miis Meads on Rcxdalo, Mr L. 1-1. Collmson on Haekwar. and Mr A. Scotl on Tenakoe. There was u large attendance of spectators, who were able to view a greater portion of the run. as Ihe course taken was almosi a circle. The hounds ran well, and some line jumping was experienced, although two or three spills took place, fortunately without injury to tho riders. Among those out were. Messrs I.). B. McEwen (master) thanked their host and hostess lor their hosiptaliiv. They all knew, ho said, what a good s'pori the president was. and. with his family, laid himself out to give his visitors a good time. Mr Lancaster said he was particularlv gratified to see such a largo muster, and thanked them for their vote of thanks. The next hunt will bo held at Waifuna on Saturday.
