. <»— At a general meeting of the Manawatu branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers Association last night the following; resolution was carried:—"That this meeting ot the Manawatu section of the P. and 1. Officers' Association protests against any further salary reductions taking place, m view of the decision given by the Arbitration Court that the cost of living has only been reduced by 5s per week, and asks the association to go into the matter. ins branch delegate to the recent conference at Wellington submitted a report concerning the business transacted there,
