Ewe and beef, unchanged (last quotations 3rd Mav: Ewe, light per lb. heavy 52 tl per lb;" beef, ox hinds 4d per lb, ox lores per lb, cow hinds old per lb. cow lores 2d per lb. All the wool arrivals up to Ist Mav will be included in the July woo!
New Zealand Loan and , Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd., Palmerston North, report:—At Rangiotu sale on Monday we hud a good yarding of cattle, bur only a small one of sheep. Bidding was dull, but -we cleared the whole of our yarding at recent values. We quote:—l'at ewes to 17s, forward store ewes 13s 6d. woolly lambs 10s to 15s. fat cows £3 2s to £4 7s. good forward cows £2 to £2 ss. good storecows 26s to 355, potting bulls 20s to 30s.

Palmer»lon North.' have received the following cable; groin from their London house under date 12th instant:— "Butter: New_ Zealand, 166 s to 172 s per cwt; more enquiry at the reduction. Cheese: 72s to 86s per cwt; poor demand."
