HARVEST THANKSGIVING.

Ihe annual harvest- thankslcgiving services of the Palmerston North Salvation Army were hold yesterday and proved a huge success. 'I he hall was brightly decorated, this being the work of Mr 11. Sykes. All the meetings were attended by packed congregations, and last evening a targe number of people bad to be turned away. In the afternoon Major Thnrkottle and his famdy rendered a series of items, and (hiring tin* evening service this talented family ga,ve several items of a musical and choral character. Altogether the week-end proved a joyful one, and one of the most successful ever held in Palmerston North.
