NEWSPAPER FORECAST. LONDON, Dec. IT. The Observer endorses the Pall Mall Gazette’s prediction that an election wil be, held in February, as it is Mr Lloyd George’s best opportunity of blanketing t ie Opposition and sweeping the board. Ihe paper advises the election agents to be in readiness, and it prophesies that Mr BoiU’i Paw will be the Chancellor of the Exchequer. , , ~ ~ ~ It relates an anecdote that Mr hloyu George exclaimed after the Irish agreement was reached, "Thank God, I see plenty of difficulties still!”
