TOUR OF THE SPRINGBOKS. (Pec Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 27. Mr A. T. Davies, president of tho New Zealand Amateur Athletes’ Association, received the following cablegram froin Mr Ira G. Emery, manager of the South African amateur athletic team, which arrived at, Adelaide last Friday“ Springboks prefer to compete for medals and certificates instead of trophies; relays all distances. Airange plenty of meetings. Men competing individually and collectively throughout.
