AN INTERNATIONAL COURT.
METHOD OF SELECTION,
Received July 9. 8.50 a.m. LONDON, July 7. Tlio obstacle which , has hitherto prevented the creation ol an International Court of Justice has been overcome. The Jurists Advisory Committee of the League of Nations, sitting at The Hague, has adopted a plan by which judges will be selected by the Council and Assembly oi the League of Nations voting separately. If an agreement is not reached provision is made for a Joint Mediation Committee, or finally filling up the vacancies by the judges already selected, a result which was impossible of attainment at 'I be Hague Conference of 1907, and only possible to-day by the existence of the League of Nations machinery.—(Reuter.)
