GIRL’S FALL FROM TRAIN. DODGING DEATH. . After falling from a train between Rtdfern and Macdonaldtowu (Sydney), one evening recently, Doris Magli, agad 10, crawled about 100 yards across eight sets of rails. She had miraculous escapes from being run down by trains, and was not discovered, till an hour after she had been on the lines. She reached a point a few yards from the running sheds, where she collapsed, and was subsequently taken to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, suffer-' ing from injuries to the head. The story, obtained in scraps from the young woman by Sergeant Moran, wits that she caught the 5.40 train to Campsie, and while travelling between Rtdfern and Macdonaldtowu, she became rather faint, and walked on to the platform of the carriage. Tho train was jolting a good deal, and ,sho overbalanced and fell on to the track. The next she, remembered was, that it was quite dark, and, in a dazed 'condition, she looked around, and conk] see trains passing backwards and fonyards. Her head had been injured and Vas bleeding. However, she continued to crawl and walk alternately, but soon found that she was unable to keep on her feet.
