ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A somewhat sensational occurrence was reported from Greytown last night, involving th" death of a man named Thomas Alaxwdl .Mclntosh. From information ve have been able to gather, it appears that .Mclntosh went to the township at 7 o’clock on Tuesday evening, engaged a room at the C’lub Hotel, and retired to bed in apparently good health and spirits. At 1.30 o’clock yesterday morning the inmates ol the hotel were alarmed by cries for help, and .Mclntosh was found on tho pavement in front, of the building in great pain, and suffering from injuries, apparently sustained from a fall from some height. It is surmised that tho unfortunate man fell from Ids bedroom window wiiile in a state ol somnambulism. Ho was imhiodintelv convoyed to the Greytown hospital, whore all was’doin' that was possible to relieve him, but he passed away during the day. —Age.
