PICNIC AT FOXTON.
A most enjoyable clay was'spent by the employees ol the New Zealand Fanners' Dairy Union at Foxton last week. The party proceeded per tho cofjipany's motor lorry to' this popular seaside resort. The thanks of the employees are due to Mr AY. E. Bendall, the company's secretary, for providing the refreshments and prizes, and also to Mr -Morgan for the lorry. Sports were indulged in, the results being as follows:—Boys' race, W. Harris 1, W. Mayo '2; girls' race, A. Harris 1, L. Harris '1; ladies' race, .Mrs Collis 1, Mrs Woods 2 ; youths' race. A. Collis 1, P Mavo 2; moil's race. 11. Harris 1, 11. J. Webb 2. "
