, FIRST ANNUAL SPORTS DAY. The first animal sports and prize day of the Essex House school was held on I nesday and was attended by a number of gelations and friends ot the pupils._ During’ ihe sports a great deal (if eiuhnsniM.n was displayed, and on almost all occasions the contests -were keenly competed. 'lhe distribution of prizes was made, by Lieut. ( 01. .1. 11. Whyte, who made a fitting speech for the occasion.
