WHAT IS PROHIBITION?
AN ATTACK ON FREEDOM.
Prohibitionists urged Mr Lloyd George to put prohibition over England. That Great Britisher refused, asking 1 , "Do you want us to lose the war?" Prohibition destroys social lifer It is an organised conspiracy of anti-social plotters.
Prohibition is an attempt, to establish irresponsible tyranny. Prohibition is undemocratic. The prohibitionists have imported many recent irrivals to put prohibition over New Zealand.
Be alert, be vigorous, stand for your lights and liberties. THREE VERY IMPORTANT POINTS. There are three points electors should note:
(1) That if Continuance is carried, State Controllers and Prohibitionists have a right r,o vote on those questions in three years; but (2) If Prohibition is carried, and that by i bare majority, you will never havo another chance to vote for Continuance. (3) Should National Prohibition unfortunately be carried there is no provision in law for the liquor question being again mbmitted to the people at any future election. You can avoid so tyrannous and unlemocratic a situation arising by striking mt both bottom lines on election day. STRIKE OUT THE TWO BOTTOM LINES. [Published by Arrangement.]
