SUCCESSFUL LAND SALE.
Dalgoty and Co., Ltd., report having held :. most successful land sale at Musterton on .Saturday last on account of Mr Geo. llumo, of a portion of his Ttuoiuii estate situated in the Lower Valley, South Wairarapa district, the major portion comprising first dass dairying and fattening land. There ivus a large attendance of buyers from all parts of the district. Bidding was keen for ivery section, and we tre pleased to have to report a total clearance at the following satisfactory prices: —Section 1, 221 acres, A. W. Beale, at £67 per acre; section 2, 158 .teres, T. Harty (as agent), at £67 10s per acre; section 3, 147 acres; Mrs J. L. and Robert McLaren and Sons, at £46 per icre;. section 4, 133 acres, Mrs J. L. and Robert McLaren and Sons, at £56 10s per .icre; section 5, 170 acres, W. B. V. Pearce, it £4O per acre; section 6, 246 acres, W. B. y. Pearce, at £sl per acre; section 7, 373 teres, Geo. Busch, at £l9 per acre; section 3, 625 acres, E. C. Stackwootl, at £lO per icre. The first six sections offered,''contain. ir'ig 1077 acres, averaged £55 per acre, the total land offered realising over £72,000.
