AUSTRALIA'S NAVAL DEFENCE.

It traverses the naval problems in the Pacific as already presented to the. New Zealand Government. Australia's; contribution to the Far Eastern Fleet will involve an expenditure of £4,024,600 annually. Sir' Joseph Cook stated that steps had; already been taken to carry out _ Ldrd Jellicoe's recommendations. Reorganisation committees were being formed to inquire into the naval services.
