LOYAL AIANAAVATU LODGI
The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Manawatn Lodge, ALU., 1.0.0. F., v.as held last night, N.G. Bro. J. Barsanti presiding. Two candidates were proposed for membership. P.P.G.AI Bro. G. Green, of Canterbury District, paid a fraternal visit to the Lodge, a welcome bidng extended by the Acting V.G., P.G. Bro. A. F. Wimsclt. r i be report of the annual meeting of the Wanganui District is to he submitted to next meeting.
At the close ot the lodge a meeting of the Loyal Tararna Past Grands’ Lodge was held, President Bro. A. F. Wimsett being in the chair. Feeling reference was made to the death ri the late P.G. Bro. T. E. Geange, mid a motion of condolence was passed with his relatives. It was decided to apply for the necessary permission to <onfor the Purple Degree upon past officers entitled to it. P.P.G.AI. Bro. Green congratulated the lodge upon its establishment, and trusted that a great.deal of good would eventuate.
