The Sunday Times says there are over :■ hundred thousand German votes in the Commonwealth, and their exclusion may be cido the referendum. VICTORIAN ELECTION RETURNS. MELBOURNE, Nov. 18. The election returns are still incomplete. The second counts disclosed the defeat of Mr McKenzie, Minister for Railways, and Sir John Madden, the. Speaker, while Mr Agar Wynne. ox-Postmaster-Goneral, reenters public life as member for St. Kilda. Bab.air won the Jikajika scat from the Liberals, Inter returns emphasise the defeat ol the Peacock Ministry and the success_ of the new Nationalist Party, which includes main' of the previous Peacock Government supporters. The position is .curious, and Sir Alex. Peacock will probably tender the resignation of the Ministry on Monday.
