One election only took place in the Wood-' villo County, for lh.fi Mafiarahara. riding. There, were three candidates for two seats, and the result was: J. Gildea, 70; R. Gallowav, 66; J Cullinane, 24. KIWITEA COUNTY. The election of two members of the Kiwitea County to the Palmerston Hospital Board resulted:—J.- J. Bryce 261, A. E Pca'rcc 234 (elected), P. Mclntyre 201. Messrs Peareo and Mclntyre wore the sitting members. Only two riding- elections were necessary, as tho other sitting members were elected unopposed. These resulted : Cheltenham : B. H.
