PALMERSTON NORTH LAWN TENNIS CLUB.

There was a considerable increase in the membership, the club having received £42 more from this source than in the previous season, and it is hoped thdi |ho gain will be maintained during tin- coming season. The balance-sheet shows a very satisfactory position, the sin;~l,ls of receipts over payments being RM its fid. It will.be generally admitted that from a financial and social point of view ihe lasi season was most successful. I lie committee wish to thank all those members friends whose assistance and co-opera-tion during tie 1 past season contributed to (he success of the club and the enjoyment of the games, and trust that the coming season will be even more successful.
