Ihe Archbishops of Canterbury and fork have appealed to the religious citizenship of the country against the alienation of Welsh Church funds for secular purposes. The appeal adds: "If any socalled privilege associated legally with Establishment is shown to affect harshly or unjustly anyone, we will do our utmost to co-operate with the romoval." A strong and influential committee is at present considering the question, of •ecuring a larger measure of independence and •elf-government for the Church.
