OROUA DRAINAGE BOARD.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Oroua Drainage Board was held oil Wednesday afternoon. Present : Messrs 11. 11. Hunt (chairman), B. Gray and J. Gloyn. Mr ('. E. IVdley attended and objected to his land being classified as •>-lass lor rating purposes. He vas agreeable to it l)oing put in the second (•lass. On the motion of ?dr B. Gray, Mr IV.lley's ys arrcs was classified as second class. The clerk stated that the area of first ch'fis land was 268.(jo!) acres, second class 64.745. ajid third class 30,394, making a total of 333,688 acres.

It was resolved that notice be given to strike, a general rate of Id on first cla.s*. 2.(1 on second claes, and }d on third class land, and to hold a special meeting on the 25th to confirm the motion.
