(Times and Sydney Sun Services.) (By Electric Telegraph—Coptright.) (Per Press Association.) Received March 6, 9 a.m.
PARIS, March 6
Special tiny instruments were used for a successful operation to separate two Siamese twin girls, aged three months.
The alwve cable apparently ha 6 reference to the following paragraph which has been going the rounds of the papers:—Consent has been obtained to an operation on the twin sisters, ''Suzanne and Madaleine de Reims," who have just been "presented" to the French Academy of Medicine by Dr. L. Filiatre. The twins are joined together in a manner similar to the famous Siamese twins. Dr. Filiatre will separate the twins by operating. The twins, who are connected face to face, do not agree, and fight at every available opportunity.
