A BANKRUPT ARRESTED.
{Pie PHFRH AHPomTjoN ) HAMILTON, March 3.' Win. John Renner. a well-known Waikato contractor, arrested at Gisborne a few days ago, appeared at Hamilton Court to-day. He was adjudicated a bankrupt on the petition of Waikato Farmers' Auctioneering Company. Ren nor owed a considerable amount in the district and £lO-30 to the petitioning firm. The grounds of the petition are that Renner left his home and intended to leave the Dominion with intent to defraud and delay his creditors. Renner admitted insolvency, but denied his intention to abscond.
