ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN. Oct. 4. At the inquest on Margaret Mary Donnelly, spinster, aged 26. a bookkeeper, who recently arrived from Invercaxgill, the evidence showed that there had been a miscarriage. Dr. Fleming thought the probable can»? of ilcr.th was tokaemia of pregnancy, an excessively rare disease, and quit* distinct from the. usual cause of deaih in such Deceased's condition waa quite compatible with natural death. The contents of the stomach havf> been forwarded to the Government analyst, and the inquest was adjourned. NAPIER. Oct. 4. At th<» inquest at the hospital concerning the death of Charles < 'rescenf. Sandere, a single, man, aged, 38, tlj'' evidence showed that, deceased was suffering from pneumonia and pleurisy. He suddenly l>ecanie delirious and evading the nurse jumped through a window cutting himself badly. lie died shortly after bein<r got back to lied. The coroner found that, death was due to pneumonia accelerated by shock. no blame being attachable to the staff.
