A railway porter named Robert Arkw right, at Lower Hutt this evening, was assisting in shunting, and while riding on a car apparently olippi-d as In* attempted to jump off at the signal box. He suffered a compound fracture of the left leg. and had a fleah wound on the right lee. lie wan brought to the by >!>ecial train, and scn» to the Hospital.
