(Bt Electric Telegraph—Coptmqht.) (Pan Press Amociatioh.) LONDON, Sept. 4., One of the largest fires ever known in Manchester broke out in a bonded store at ■Bridgewater Canal. Tlie store was full of oil. Butter, and bacon. The fire is still burning. The damage is estimated at £250.000. The warehouse was gutted. Immense crowds were attracted by the flames, which rose 500 feet.

The firemen had a heavy task saving the adjoining property. Three thousand bales of cotton, two thousand cases of print goods, and much merchandise and oil were dost roved.
