BUTCHER'S VANITY AND CLEVER THIEVES.
(London Times.—Sydney Sun Special.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Per Press Association.) Received September 1, 9 a.m. PARIS, Aug. 31. A travelling photographer called at a butcher's shop, complimented the proprietor on the show of meat, and suggested that he take a photograph of the family group in front of the 6hop. The butcher consented and the man took a quarter of an hour in posing the group. When the butcher returned to the shop he found that it was ransacked and stripped of tho meat. The camera was left in the street and was found to he merely a cardboard box covered with black cloth.
