HEAVY RAIN AND RISING RIVERS
Rev. D. C. Bates wired at 9 a.m. tolay :—The indications are for freshening westerly winds, strong to gale, and eering by west to south after about 24 to 36 hours. The weather appears likev to be cloudy and unsettled. Heavy rain is to be expected, with rivers risng slowly; barometer falling, but risng after about 36 hours.
