IP*B PBtM ASSOCIATION.! INVERCARGILL, May 28. At the Supreme Court Jas. Dee, aged 23, was found guilty of assault with ntent. Sir Joshua Williams said he aras very reluctant to order flogging, but where violence had been used it ivas the intention of the Legislature oh at flogging be inflicted. Prisoner was to five years' and twelve strokes of the "cat."
