SOLWAY SHOW
The 26th annual exhibition of the Masterton A. and P. Association is to be opened next Tuesday at the Solway grounds, and continued on the following day, Februarv 19th. The attention of exhibitors and those of the general public who intend visiting 7iie show is drawn to the special tiain arrangements that have been made in connection therewith. On the 18th (Tuesday) the ordinary timetable will be observed, but on the 19th (People's Day) in addition the following trains will run : —A special will leave iAoodville at 8.5 a.m. (the 7 a.m. train from Palmerston arrives at Woodville at 8 a.m.) arriving at Solway at 10.5 a.m. For the return journey a special train leaves Solway for Woodville at 4.55 p.m. The mail train will also stop at Solway on the Wednesday. The entries received for this show compare favourably with those of last rear, and they are representative of all classes of agricultuial and pastoral life. The stock exhibitors include the leading breeders of ine Dominion, while the standard reached b\ all other sections is the equal of any in New Zealand. The jumping competitions, which are always a source of great attraction have attracted the best jumping horses in the North Island, and keen contests and high-class exhibitions of jumping arc assured. The grounds have undergone many improvements since last year as well. Oood weatha'r is all that is neccssarv to en>!'r'ma 7 record success for the Sohvav show of 1913.
