FOOTBALL.
The Manawatu Football Association met last evening, There were present; Messrs W. Ruthorfurd, Sutton, Martin, Young, Moxon, Kempson, and Dunlop (secretary). Messrs Moxon and Dunlop were appointed to eeo whether a team could be arranged to play the Porirua Club. It was decided to invite the Ponsonby team, travelling from Wellington, to play a match with the local representatives in Palmerston on Tuesday, 19th. The match against Dannevirkc has, been postponed until Saturday, 16th, Mr Olaughton was elected to referee in the Jackeytown—Rangers match next Saturday.
