A meeting of the Management Committee of the Manawatu Rugby, Union was hold last evening, and attended by Messrs Gibbons (chairman), W. Boon, McWilliairis, Groathead, Dickel, Foote, Pawson and W. McKenzic (sec-

rotary). Saturday, August sth, was fixed by Mr W. T. Parata as the date for the Maori match. A letter was received from Uie Horowhenua Union, stating that next Saturday would be suitable for tho rep.

W. Cant was added to the Palmerston North junior team, and E. Mia and W. Reid to Athletic IV.
