Mrs Drummond, on led a five miles long procession organised by the Women's Social and Political Union. Tho procession was seven abreast and in all included forty thousand women, representing ail countries, with 70 bands. One section of tho procession symbolised woman's part in history, and then came seven hundred suffragettes who had sullcred imprisonment, dressed in white. Another section of the pageant represented the greatness and unity of tho Empire. Besides Mesdamcs Fisher and MeGowen, Ladies Brassoy and Cockburn walked in tho procession. The proceedings at the Albert Hall meeting were enthusiastic.
