MEETING OF CREDITORS.

ESTATE OF E. WHITE. The first meeting- of orcditors in tin bankrupt estate of Emanuel White, farmer, was held in tho D.O.A.'s ofhco yesterday afternoon, tho creditors present be ing Messrs Alluian, Smith, lialli Stephen--4011 and Follas. . Mr W. L. Fitzh'erbert represented the holders of tho bill-of-fiale. The bankrupt and his statement said Mr A. Akers had a bill-of-salo over his property for £B3. Ho . estimated tjiat his assets would : produce about- ildu ana would leave a balance of liabilities over assets of about £3O. For the past two years lie had paid his way and the majority of tho debts wero_ incurved bofoio this time, and in sonio instances, as fu back aa seven years ago. Several questions in reference to the bill-of-sale wero satisfactorily answered. Mr Fitzherbert. said, ho waa eatished with tho bankrupt's explanation of the bill-of-salo and that ho had done his best as far as ho was concerned. Ho had found him thoroughly honest and straightforward in all his dealings with him. It was decided to sell tho stock and inv plcmcnts by auction. No other resolutions wero passed and the meeting terminated.
