EXTENSIVE IMPROVEMENTS. (Bl ELEOTRIO TELBGBAPH-ConBIQHT.) (Per Press Assooiation.) SYDNEY, Juno 14. Hon. Mi' Carmichael told a deputation representing tho Steamship Owners' Federation and Merchants that tho Government had provided an additional £160,000 for resumption of work in connection with removing the congestion along tho water front. Besides tho extensive works in progress to this end, tho Harbour Trust proposed finishing within fifteen months a road from eighty to one hundred feet wide round tho harbour from Circular Quay to Kent' Street. i i- ' ■
