Mounsey and Co, have .been favoured with instructions from the executor in the estate of William Waugh, deceased, to sel his well-known farm, situated on tho Ashhursfc Road about five miles from PaJniereton North, and containing 310 acres 32 perches, the pick of this district, being all in grass, with substantial dwelling house and outbuildings, Tho property should excite a great amount of attention, as it is seldom if ever such' a valuable farm so conveniently situated is offered, under the hammer," The sale takes place on the 27th May. Mounsey and Co. report having held several very largo sales in tho district since their last report, in every instance absolute clearances have been made with very satisfactory results, several town properties have been offered under the hammer, and if not sold at tho time have mostly found purchasers later. Our weekly mart sales have been well attended, and we have had to offer full consignments in every department. Produce is beginning to move, and prices advancing. The only fruit coming forward now is apples and good keepers are selling well. We quoto: Produce, table potatoes £5 to £5 15s, onionse £5, barlcv 3s 3d bushel, o.s. chaff £4 10s to £6, pickling onions 2s bag, marrows 2s 6d to 3s 6d, carrots 4s to ss, parsnips 4s 6d to ss, pumpkins 4s 6d to 5s 6cl, dessert apples stunners 2s 3d bushel, do 6s; Washingtons 2s 6d fcase, other good dessert varieties rule from 2s to 5s per case, cookers, largo cases, 4s to 5s 6d, Tho price for. pigs and poultry remain the same.
