THE LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP,

(By Electric Telegbaph-Copybight I (Peh Press Association.) SYDNEY, March 26.

The Parramatta Hundred resulted as follows:—Ripley, 75 seconds (limit man), 1; Towns, 26 seconds, 2; Hagney, scratch, 3. Ripley's generous allowance secured him a runaway victory, and nono of tho other eleven starters ever had a look in. Shaping well and going strong, ho easily maintained his lead, finishing soven lengths to tho good,_ Hagney and Towns made a good showing, and were closo together at the finish. Thco. Towns (30 seconds) was fourth. FogweH gave a disappointing effort, duo to indisposition.

. The Beaten Scullers' Handicap resulted: McKinnon, 48 seconds, 1; Messenger, 28 seconds, 2; J. Arnst 26 seconds, 3. Hopping turned turtle, and threw Carter and Kemp out of the running. When tho scullers settled down McKinnon took charge, and was never headed, winning by two lengths. J. Arnst, shaping well, pushed Messenger close for second place. R. Arnst did not start.

For the Ladies' Sculling Championship of Australia Miss Lewis, tho holder, beat Miss Ryan, the challenger.
