AUCTION SALES. A sheep fair will be held at Pahiatua cm Tuesday, 28inst., by Abraham and Williams, Ltd.; entries so far total over 12,000 sheep and thoy expect to offer quite 15,000. The sheep are the annual drafts of their clients in the district, and have tho reputation of doing exceptionally well in the Manawatu and Wairarapa.
Mounsey and Co. draw special attention to Mrs Williams' sale of superior household furniture and effects, which they will conduct on Thursday at her residence, No. 2, Hereford street, as tho sale contains a particularly fino lot of items 6eldom met with at auction sales. Mounsey and Co. wish to remind our readers of the genuine sale of jewellery they are conducting to-morrow, at their rooms, commencing, at..l p.m.. -Mr L. Cohen ,who is well-known throughout the Dominion as a seller of high-class jewellery, is the vendor, and the auctioneers advise residents to inspect the very fin& £ISOO stock, comprising chiefly ladies' and men' gold, and silver watches, heavy gold chains, beautiful designs in pendants, bangles, lockets, sleeve links," ladies' ornaments, in fact every item contained in a well-selected. jewellor'a stock, comparing with the' leading houses of the Dominion. The sale will bo continued on Thursday and Friday. Mr Cohen will be in attendance, and will be. pleased to show lovers,-of jewellery any articontained in his very valuable stock, which will be on view at the auctioneer's show rooms to-morrow morning.
