AM| iCASTLEIS;.- ' ' The popular young singer, Miss Amy Castles, will bid farewell to New Zealand prior to her return to London, where she is shortly to, 1 appear in grand opera. A concert will bo given in the Opera House, Palmerston, on Friday, March 10th. Miss Castles simply took Australia by storm on her appearance on the concert platform, after an of eight years Her charming and fascinating personality, combined with her 6weet and sympathetic] soprano, has, won for her a permanent place in the' affections of all music lovers in Australia. Her first essay in grand "'opera was also, in -the manner of a triumph, arid Mere seems littlo doubt of her success when she ,ap-, pears for the first time in London in operatic scenes.; Miss Castles will be supported; by her splendid company of prominont artists, comprising Herr Alexander Camphausen (bass baritone), from Leipzig, Herr Louis Hattenb'acli ('cellist), and Mr William- Conway (pianist). The box plans are announced to open at Mr W. Park's on Monday next.
