(From Our Own correspondent.) The school picnic, held in the Domain on Friday last, v/as a well attended and successful .function. The youngsters thoroughly enjoyed themselves. - The Church of England garden party will bo' held on Tuesday, instead of Wednesday. Messrs Dawick Bros.' motor launch, "Mqana," built by Mr. A. Bauckham, is now at the Foxton beach. The Dairy Union are building a reservoir in connection with their factory, which will be of great convenience should another dry summer come along.
