The Chamber, by 461 to 76,' authorised the construction of. two 23,500 ton battleships. . M. Dellcasso stated that the naval programme provided for tho construction of a permanent fleet of twenty-eight battleships, ■ with an age limit of'twenty years, costing 554,000,000, spread over ten years. ' CABINET WILL RESIGN. PARIS, Feb. 26. The 'Jabinct resigns after the funeral of General Brim, late Minister for War, whose death was announced by cable last week.
