The Canterbury Jockey Club's meeting was continued in fine weather ..today. The course was in good order, and there was a. large attendance. Results: — Suburban Hurdles—Master Paul 1, Aorangi 2, Milo 3. AH started. Beckwell fell. Master Paul led ■ all the way and won with a little in hand. Time, 3:12-5. Spring Nursery.—Masterpiece 1, Miscount 2, Orton 3. All started. Miscount and Orton led into the straight. Masterpiece finishing etrongly won by a neck. Time, 48 4-5. Avon Welter.—Dreadless 1, Domino 2, Merrivonia 3. Scratched: Cronstadt. Canterbury Cun.—Diabolo 1, Birkdale 2, John 3. AUCKLAND MEETING. AUCKLAND, Nov. 9. The Auckland races were continued in unfavourable weather. Showers are frequent, but the course is holding. The attendance is fair. Results: — . Spring Handicap.—Antoinette 1, Taimanupo 2, Iney 3. Scratched: King Soult. Antoinette drew out three furlongs from home, and won easily by four lengths. Time, 1.44. Manukau Hurdles. —Continuance 1, Hoanga 2, Tui Cakabou 3. Scratched: Hautapu. The winner was in front after passing the stand and won easily by three lengths. Black Northern fell. Time, 3.22.
Normanby Handicap. — Kapanga 1, Spectre 2, Master Theory 3. Scratched: First Wairiki, Egotist and Presently. Kapanga led throughout and won easily by two and a half lengths. Time, 1.31. WAIPAWA MEETING. WAIPAWA, Nov. 9. Maiden Hack.—Entente 1, Miriam 2, Ukuia 3. Also started: Artie, Staffa, Flavia, Stellaris. Won with ease by a length. Time, I.SO. Electric Hack.—Magneto 1, Moreykoff 2, Seraphic 3. Also started: Waitoke, Merrie Valet, Scots Fusilier, Mooi, Maise. Won by a head. Time, 1.4 3-5. Waipawa County Handicap.—Voetgang 1, Wirral 2, Separator 3. TARATAHI-CARTERTON MEETING. CLAREVILLE, Nov. 9. Tararua Hack Hurdles. —Whakaweira 1, British Rifle 2, Rosegrove 3. Won by two lengths. Time, 2.56. Belvedere Hack. —Merrie Frank 1, Lord Possible 2, Merrie Goer 3. Scratched: Leahora. Won all the way by three lengths. Time, 1.16. Railway Handicap.—Sunbonnet 1, Merchantman 2, Purakau 3. All started. Won all the way easily. Time, 1.15. Wairarapa Hack Guineas.—Rill 1, British Maid 2, Waikehua 3.
