CHRISTCHURCH SHOW.

(Pee Press Association.) OHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 9. The Metropolitan Show opened today in beautiful weather. The entries in most classes are large, aggregating 2145, as compared with 2002 last year. Sheep number 1050, cattle 233, horses 531. They are classes. A disappointing feature is the absence of implements, there being only 133 entries, compared with 502 last year. Implement makers appear to be repeating the experiment of 1907, when they decided not to incur the expense of making a display.
